Researched Argument Documentation Draft

Bring a hard copy of your completed draft of your Researched Argument paper to class with you on Wednesday, July 17. Also bring your copy of either the MLA or APA handbook (or other documentation style handbook if you've chosen one) to class with you. In class we will trade drafts and assess each other's use of MLA or APA formatting and documentation.

We will also peer review each other's work.

Turn It In

This is an in-class assignment, to be completed and turned in during class on Wednesday, July 17.

You will receive two grades for this assignment: one for the quality of your use of your chosen style (MLA, APA, etc.), and another for your participation in the peer review.

To receive credit you (1) must be present, (2) must have a completed draft of your paper, (3) must have the draft printed out on paper. Failure to meet these three requirements will result in a fail for this assignment, and late work will not be accepted. Why, you ask? Because it is not fair to judge another's paper if you aren't yourself prepared to be judge. Sharing your writing with others is scary—you must be vulnerable to other people if they are going to be vulnerable to you.
